3 WW2 Heroes You Don't Know and 1 You Do

James Hart, Clifton Lee, and Felix Sparks
Each day I profile one of the World War 2 Fallen. During August I learned about 33 of these men. While each had a meaningful story, there are three that went above and beyond that I want to recognize once more so more people become familiar with their stories.

Click on their names to read more.

James Hart. Fought on a guerrilla in the Philippines after Americans were initially defeated.

Clifton Lee. Was one of the very first men killed on the beaches on D-Day.

Gust Sweening. Gave his live to help save his cruiser from sinking.

There is also one WW2 hero who students of history may already know for his heroic leadership from early in the war in Europe right up to the end.

Felix Sparks. Led the liberation of Dachau.
