WW2 Fallen - Lloyd Bushell, 5th Infantry Division

Lloyd G. Bushell could have been 100 years old today. 

He was born on February 5, 1917 in Nebraska. His parents were also Nebraska born. His father was a steam fitter. He had three older brothers and one older sister.

Lloyd enlisted in the army on October 11, 1941. He reported completing a grammar school level of education.

He served as a private in Battery B, 599th AAA, 5th Infantry Division. The 5th Infantry Division crossed the Rhine on March 22, 1945. Pvt. Bushell died 2 days later.

His remains were returned to be buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso.
